This blog is intended to bring interested parties, including kidney cancer patients, survivors and their families information about this disease.  My bio is available on Ziggs.  I am a very fortunate long time survivor of renal cell carcinoma and I have worked with the Kidney Cancer Association, a global charity serving 72-thousand constituents in more than 100 countries since 1990.  In part, I attribute my survival to having the benefit of expert medical advice.  It is my hope that information from this blog will bring hope and the prospect of a better quality of life to others whose lives are touched by this disease--while we work together toward the day when ours is A World Without Kidney Cancer.

Although I work at the Kidney Cancer Association as its CEO, note that the postings to this blog include my personal opinions on a variety of topics.  Please do not assume that this blog necessarily represents the position of the Association on any issue presented or discussed.
